みなさんはどんな年末年始をお過ごしになられたでしょうか？
わたしも実家に戻り地元の友人たちとお酒を楽しんだり、
家族でゆったり過ごしたりと思いっきりリフレッシュしてきました☆
そんな中、年明けそうそう赴いた場所があります。
そう自分が生まれてから小学校３年生まで育った町
東京都小金井市
生まれ育った団地に行ってみようと
妹とふたりで出かけてきました
街並の変貌もありましたが、
はるか昔小学生だった自分の記憶を頼りに
迷いに迷いながらやっと辿り着いた自分の家
なんときれいに新築工事の真っ最中でした
公務員団地だったのですが、
建物の老朽化で半分を立て直し
３割ほどを某お金持ち（！？）の学校法人の校舎として売却
２割ほどがまだ残っていて昔の面影を残していました
う～ん
たしかに自分が住んでいた15年前から古くて外壁にヒビが入っていたような。。。
団地の中心に公園がありそこでよく遊んだ記憶があったのですが、
その公園もなくなっていました
でもそこにあった大きな大きな木は
自分が知ってるよりも
さらに大きくなって残されていました！
そんな姿をみて少しうれしくなりながら
そういえば妹と出かけたのなんて
記憶にないなぁとも思いながら
今年最初の日を過ごしたのでした。
最近買い換えた携帯電話に万歩計機能が
ついているのですが、その日のカウントは
なんと29,000歩 距離にして17.4ｋｍ
妹が終盤、かなり不機嫌だったことは言うまでもありません。

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine.
