BBC NEWS "Market Data - Currencies" section shows different currencies in the world vs. each other. I myself am most concerned with the "United States Dollar - Japanese Yen" comparison.
The 52 week high, $1 buys 124.15 yen.
The 52 week low, $1 buys 101.78 yen.
That's a 22.37 yen difference since the end of June '07.
Roughly, an 18% difference.
The current rate: $1 buys 102.095 yen.
Good news for the yen income earners that spend in the US.
Rough for the dollar income earners that live in Japan.
I know that this is not news to the people that read this but it's a big change in just 8 months.
I guess we'll see if the dollar goes to a 100 yen or less like it did with the Canadian dollar..
