Hello everyone,

I have been blogging in Japanese recently so I don't know how many of you still check in every time and again.

It has been raining quite heavily recently, then there was the 4 magnitude earthquake on Sunday night. Then some more rain from Typhoon number 9 and the earthquake Tuesday morning.

How is everyone's house holding up? Any leakages in the roof or backed up pumps? Please let me know! Any insurance related inquiries are also welcome, my company works with the major fire/earthquake insurance companies.

Hello everyone,

I will be going to Fukushima prefecture for summer break. I will be out of the office from August 15th (SAT) to August 19th (WED). Please send an e-mail or give me a phone call if you need anything.

I went to Fukushima prefecture for 4 days to visit family over summer break. It was very green, less humidity and got much cooler in the evenings and mornings. It feels good to get out the city every once in awhile. I went hiking in the mountains with my grandfather where we searched for maple trees suitable for a bonsai. Perhaps I will attach photos at a later time =)
